'Mombo in Botswana is a place has very special meaning for me. By virtue of my friendship in the 1990s with the original owners (Chris MacIntyre and Colin Bell) of a small lodge called Mombo near a place called Lechwe Haven in the Okavango - I had access to an area with truly spectacular wildlife concentrations and fabulous wilderness. This might possibly be the best wildlife viewing area in Southern Africa for lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog. This is just one of my many Mombo paintings done to date.'
