'The spectacle of wildebeest and zebra splashing their way
across the Mara river in the Mara Triangle in Kenya is one of the most
sought out attractions to be seen during the annual wildebeest migration.
There is a whiff of ‘Circus Maximus’ about such occasions
as life and death duels are played out in front of an audience (in
safari vehicles lining the riverbank) that wants to see blood!' This is one of several small paintings that I have done of the crossings in the Mara National Reserve.
